General Insurance Complaints Specialist

Huntswood is looking for a highly experienced general insurance complaints handler to support our client resolve GI complaints on a variety of products and concerns. Whilst this is a working from home opportunity, you will be required to occasionally attend an office in York, Bristol or Stratford-upon-Avon.
Location: Working from Home
Rate: From £200 a day - umbrella only
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: to June 2021 initially
Responsibilities:
* Dealing with a variety of complaints across Home, Motor or Personal Lines product lines
* Investigating and resolving issues around a variety of subjects including pricing, policy cover, sales breaches and subsidence claims
* Resolving complaints over the phone as well as communicating with customer over email and by letter
Skills required:
* Experience of dealing with general insurance complaints across Home, Motor or Personal Lines
* Experience in a telephony-based complaint handling role
* Excellent letter writing skills
* Strong oral communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work to strict targets
* The ability to navigate through a number of in-house databases
* Good MS Office skills, particularly MS Word
