Huntswood is looking for experienced utilities complaint handler, with experience of dealing with complex Ombudsman level complaints, to support a leading provider of gas and electricity.

Role overview:

Location: Working from home

Start Date: ASAP

Shift: Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm - This is a highly targeted role. You may have to work longer hours to complete your target

Duration: 3 month contract

Rate: Dependent on experience

Umbrella only recruitment - This is only available to individuals working via an Umbrella company, we can assist you with this


  • Research, analyse and investigate cases and deliver outcomes in a clear and professional manner, providing a logical and concise analysis
  • Deliver a high standards of customer service ensuring cases are progressed with high levels of care and empathy
  • Communicating resolution to customers/ombudsman including writing bespoke letter and speaking with customers on the telephone
  • Meet all targets set by client

Skills required:

  • You must have experience working Energy Ombudsman complaints
  • You must have strong knowledge of Energy sector complaints and/or of consumer relations and dispute resolution
  • The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines in a demanding environment
  • Good communication skills capable of dealing with wide range of customers, over the telephone and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate through a number of in-house databases
  • Good MS Office skills, particularly MS Word
