Collections Team Leader

Huntswood is looking for an outstanding collections team leader to support a team of collections agents for a large water company.

As a Collections Team Leader you will manage a team of collections agents who dealing with our client's customers regarding the payment of their bills. Your role will be to support the team with any queries they have and also manage the day to day running of the team including dealing with performance related queries, holidays and escalations.

This great contract opportunity runs until October 2023, working from home from day 1 and the duration of this contract. The collections teams work shifts between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am to 2pm, so you need to be flexible to work the same shifts.

As a Collections Team Leader will have:

• Experience managing a team of collections agent
• Experience dealing with performance concerns and giving feedback
• Experience working in the utilities sector would be desirable
• Flexibility to work Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm, Saturday 8am to 2pm
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to navigate through a number of in-house databases
• Good MS Office skills, particularly MS Word
• Strong numeracy and written communication skills
