Huntswood is looking for experienced complaint handlers, who have worked in the insurance industry, to work on behalf of a well-known insurance provider.

Working in the Complaints department, you will use your experience and knowledge of the insurance claims processes and T&Cs to resolve customer complaints regarding their motor or home insurance claims. This could mean liaising with other parts of the business and 3rd parties to provide a resolution that works for the client and the customer. This great contract opportunity pays £165 a day for 6 months initially, working from home with all equipment and training provided.

The ideal General Insurance Claims Complaint Handler will have:

  • Experience working in a complaint handler or claims handler role within the general insurance industry
  • A good understanding of the claims process and insurance teams and conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate through a number of in-house databases
  • Good MS Office skills, particularly MS Word
  • Strong numeracy and written communication skills
