Risk and Controls Officer

Huntswood is looking for Risk and Controls Officer with regulated sales experience to join an exciting project with a leading provider of financial services products.

A great opportunity for someone with excellent knowledge of the conduct risks and controls associated with Financial Advice. You will be reviewing, redesigning, and implementing a range of controls that mitigate the risks to customers.

Role overview:

Location: Working from home

Rate: Up to date £325 a day DOE - Umbrella only recruitment - This is only available to individuals working via an Umbrella company, we can assist you with this

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3 Month Initial

As a Risk and Controls Officer you will have:

• Excellent knowledge of financial advice and the distribution of life, pension, and investment products
• Awareness of the associated risks with financial advice, with a particular focus on conduct and fraud
• Proven experience in the administration of risk and control frameworks, and knowledge of regulatory (Financial Conduct Authority) and legislative requirements governing financial advice
• Excellent stakeholder manager skills
• Great communication skills be written and verbally
