Huntswood is recruiting experienced Call Handlers to support a key customer-focused project running until May 2026.
Working from home, you’ll handle inbound and outbound calls, provide accurate information, identify vulnerability triggers, and maintain clear customer records.

Rate: £155 a day Umbrella only recruitment – This is only available to individuals working via an Umbrella company, we can assist you with this
Start Date: Monday 2nd March
Shift: Monday-Friday, 09:00 – 18:00
As a Call Handler you will be:
- Answering incoming calls from customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Providing accurate information to customers and resolving any issues they may have.
- Making outbound calls to customers to follow up on queries and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
- Utilising approved call scripts to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Accurately inputting and updating customer information in the company’s CRM database.
- Minimum 12 months Telephony/Call centre experience
- Be able to quickly identify and correctly signpost vulnerability triggers as well as dissatisfaction during customer interactions.
- Achieving and exceeding performance targets and KPIs.
The ideal Call Handler will have:
- Minimum 12 months experience in call centre or customer service environment
- Good understanding of Remediation and how the claims process works.
- Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Experience with CRM systems and call centre software.
