Financial Crime Analyst - KYC/KYB

Huntswood is looking for experienced Financial Crime Analysts to support a KYC/KYB contract starting in February.

This contract is focused on ongoing KYC checks specifically reviewing a variety of entities including, but not limited to, Limited Companies, Charities, Societies, Sole Traders and Trusts.

This is a traditional review piece which requires independent thinking, strong attention to detail, agility/adaptability around change and although remote to truly embrace the concept around teamwork.

Role overview:

Location: Working from home

Duration: 4 months

Rate: £200 a day - Husp Umbrella only recruitment - This is only available to individuals working via Husp Umbrella company, we can assist you with this

Start Date: 10th February 2025

Shift: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5:30pm

The ideal Financial Crime Analyst will have:

• At least 12 months experience in a KYC or KYB checking role within the financial services industry
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to identify and assess potential risks
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities
• Experience of working with key stakeholders to obtain missing customer information and documentation
• Ability to work independently as well as being able to work as a team
• Ability to navigate through several in-house databases
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Great knowledge of the industry best practices
• Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Suitable workspace at home with strong broadband connection

As a Financial Crime Analyst you will be:

• Review of variety of entities including Ltd co, charity, society, sole traders
• Managing caseload from start of journey through to end review
• Corresponding via email, letter and phone
• Applying blocks
• Querying discrepancies within customer review process
• Providing recommendation to off-board dependent on risk appetite
• Clear a backlog of Sanctions, PEPs and adverse media alerts that need to be reviewed and either cleared or escalated accordingly
